Delete your Re.Food account

You can delete your Re.Food account, and everything in it, at any time. Re.Food is operated by the Re.Food team.
In the app
- Open Re.Food and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. This can’t be undone.
Without the app
Email support@re-food.app with the subject Delete my account, from the email address your account uses — or, if you sign in with Google, from that Google account’s address. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address, and we will delete the account and tell you it is done within one month.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, password, Google sign-in, handle, display name, bio and profile picture.
- Your health and body information: gender, date of birth, height, weight, activity level and goals.
- Everything you have logged: meals, water, activities, weight history, and your custom trackers and their reminders.
- Your posts and recipes with their photos, and the comments, ratings, likes and saves you left on other people’s posts.
- Your conversations — the whole conversation, including the other person’s copy of it — who you follow, who follows you, and anyone you have blocked.
- Your Premium and AI scan records, your push notification tokens, and the record of how you used the app.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups. Copies of the deleted data in our database backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, within 35 days.
- Diagnostics. Crash and error reports held by Sentry can carry your account id. They are deleted automatically, within 90 days.
- Purchases. Google Play keeps its own record of what you bought, in your Google account. RevenueCat keeps a record of your purchases under your account id only, never your name or email — write to us if you want that removed too. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it first in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions.
Deleting some of your data
You don’t have to delete your account to remove things. In the app you can delete any meal, activity or custom tracker, any post or comment of yours, and your profile picture. For anything else — a conversation, for example — write to support@re-food.app.
